At Taskforce, we pride ourselves on being a family-run business and playing an important role and the heart of the community. Justine, our friendly and efficient admin assistant, is a fantastic example of that.

Justine joined us just three months ago, but she has already become an essential part of the team. Working three days a week, Justine has been trained on our highly efficient invoicing system, which helps us to stay organised and make sure that everything runs seamlessly for both Taskforce and our clients. As well as managing important administrative tasks like sending out service reminders and handling customer queries, another of her key tasks is sending out reminder letters for annual boiler services – an approach we prefer over emails because it feels more thoughtful and is appreciated by our customers. “Being able to offer that personal touch is part of what sets Taskforce apart,” she says. “I really enjoy the variety of my role – every day is different, and I love speaking with our customers.”

The perfect timing for a new role

Justine lives in Havant and has three children who attend schools nearby. When her youngest started full-time schooling, she decided it was the ideal time to return to work. Luckily, she mentioned this to her brother, Sonny, who just happens to have been part of our team as an engineer for the past three years! He told her that we were actually looking to employ an admin assistant. “It was perfect timing, and I loved the idea of working for a family-run business that already felt familiar because of my brother,” Justine says.

Balancing work and family life

One of the things she says she loves most about working with us is being part of a workplace that values family life as much as she does. With school drop-offs and pick-ups to juggle, she appreciates how flexible we are when it comes to her schedule. “It’s great to be part of a team that supports working parents – it makes such a difference,” she says.

While every day at Taskforce is different, Justine says she has found it easy to learn her role – although, with heating and plumbing, you never know what might come up – from customers calling to ask about our boiler services to needing urgent repairs to heating systems. She’s found she’s even started to apply some of the useful knowledge she’s picked up at home!

Next time you call Taskforce, there’s a good chance you’ll be greeted by Justine’s friendly voice – so don’t hesitate to say hello!
