About Taskforce Heating and Plumbing
Taskforce are based in Emsworth, with Havant on our doorstep. We work throughout an area roughly bounded by Tangmere and Chichester in the East, Portsmouth in the West and Clanfield to the North. Although we can occasionally go further, this tends to become less efficient and not cost-effective for our customers, or for us. If you have a problem outside these areas, however, don’t hesitate to call as we may be able to give some useful advice – and occasionally get a failed system going – over the ‘phone.
We set Taskforce up nearly 20 years ago with the intention of providing a good quality and very responsive service. So far, this has been very successful and we intend to keep it that way! After a few years we set up Response, our maintenance contract company which now has about 400 boilers and heating systems under contract. Response works well for both our customers and for us. We are able to do the majority of servicing boilers with a maintenance contract in the Summer months, leaving us more available for breakdowns and emergencies in the colder months – when the problems seem to occur most.
Carla and Rachel organise our work from our office in Emsworth, so you will always have a person to talk to – well , occasionally when the phone are very busy, you will get an answerphone but we’ll call you back quickly. During the evenings and at weekends the ‘phone will usually be answered, but again if not you will receive a return call quickly. We only ask that administrative matters are left to weekdays so that the weekends are not too busy.

Hampshire County Council Trading Standards operate Buy With Confidence. This is an online directory where you can find local trustworthy traders who are Trading Standards approved. If you have an unresolved issue with us (you won’t!) you could go to Buy With Confidence who will mediate.
Which? – the consumer organisation – also carefully vet the Traders they approve and produce an online directory. They accept feedback on our service so don’t hesitate to look at the feedback. We have been a member for many years.
