Taskforce is growing so we have some new team members to welcome.
Our aim is to grow slowly and recruit extremely carefully so that we can maintain and increase our high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Some of you will have already met Sonny and Lewis.
Sonny Mosely is our new Senior Engineer. Sonny has run his own heating company – Ignite Heating – for many years. We have now merged both companies giving Taskforce the benefit of Sonny’s many years of experience, and giving Sonny the benefit of our well-developed office backup. This is already showing to be a huge benefit to all.
Sonny was originally trained by British Gas and later worked closely with Portsmouth City Council. He then started his own business, Ignite Heating, which he ran very successfully for 9 years.
If you have not yet met Sonny, you will like his relaxed and approachable style. More importantly his quality of work cannot be faulted. We are finding him to be a mine of invaluable information and advice.
Lewis Cromey has now been with us for over a year. He is a very competent plumber with a wide range of skills, and over the year he has rapidly become very knowledgeable and qualified in all aspects of gas and heating.
Lewis has a real enthusiasm for the wide variety of work and will always help with advice where it is needed. We have found that he fits in well with all our other staff members and customers often ask for him by name.
Karen Locke from Hayling Island now works every morning in our office. She helps with invoicing, answering enquiries and organising jobs. She also manages Clik, the software package that keeps our records and produces our job sheets.
Karen has previously worked in customer serving roles and loves talking to our customers when they ring. Karen also helps with ordering boiler parts and sourcing taps and showers when needed.
Helping Carla with accounts is Jan Holden-Fisher from Havant. Jan has long experience of working with the accounts of building companies, including the company run by her own husband, Dave. We have found that she is expert at running Sage, the accounts package.
Jan can turn her hand to anything, so you may well speak to her on the ‘phone. She will often book servicing appointments for Response, our maintenance contract business.
